After listening to my good friend Morten Just on a podcast, I realised it would be fun and smart to have a teammate, when testing out all of these AI app builders, as I wrote about in this post.
Morten is a guy who basically out of spite (being told no too many times by Google engineers) learned how to code. He also was in the founding team of Android Wear, which in many ways paved the way for a lot of the ways we use smartwatches today. He might hate me for saying this, but he is one of the smartest people I know. You can see what he is building in his Otato empire right here
So luckily I’ve managed to convince him to join up in some capacity to test out these tools, the important part being that he can code and I cannot.
The goal is to build side by side, seeing how different my experience is to his and we’re currently discussing what app to build and I’ll return when we decide.
Who died? Codapt.ai died.
I’ve decided to skip this tool for now. When the first simple little thing you throw at it turns into endless errors and a “Something went wrong!” in bold, it’s time to delist it.
Not only that, but the interface is so far behind the other tools. So with claims of being 100x more powerful than the competition, I’m not leaving room for this kind of errors - not even in a demo.
